On the day your DJ can act as Master of Ceremonies, compare and can introduce the bridal party (if necessary) and get your guests involved in dancing (or any other "activities" you have planed). Your DJ will consult with. Your best man to confirm your options on the music selection and other requirements. If you have younger children at your function your DJ will make balloon toys for them, (this is only done while people are sitting  and chatting.

One of the things to think about when organising a wedding function is: have we left enough time for everything, Because everybody is enjoying themselves time seems unimportant as a result most weddings run late.

If the photographer says it will take and hour it will normally take and hour and a half or longer, the speeches usually take a little longer than you anticipated. The Wedding breakfast always take longer then expected. 

When inviting guests for say 7.30pm unless most of them have been at the wedding all day, don't expect most of them until 8.30pm.
