We
have been offering children's entertainment for over 18 yrs. The Party's
are designed for children from 5 yrs upwards. "For
Age 10 and over"

asked to take by parents at children's party's we attend. You might see your party
here! (People or place
names will NOT be identified)
A
brief description of the party:
The children have an
opportunity to take part in competitions and win a bag of goodies. Everything they win
they take home. We provide
everything we need to give away with the exception of sweets and "pass the
parcel"; we expect you to provide these items.
The show consists of a disco
(with flashing lights),
Children's entertainer, prizes and balloon modelling; the show last's for
approximately 2 hours.
As the
party progresses:
We
briefly pause the entertainment to allow you to "feed and water" the children.
Whilst you're doing this we will organise the birthday cake (which
you also supply).
This is where you and your child or
children blow out the candles whilst family and friends take
pictures of this important moment. We can do this as many times as
necessary (with different family and friends) to ensure that all the
photo's meet with your full approval.
After they've eaten:
We organise a disco dance competition and depending on the time left
we can go on to play: musical chairs, bumps, statues etc.
At the end we ask the
children to sit on the floor..... you
then give them a goody bag and we give them the balloon crazies that we made
earlier.
During the course of the party
we try to make a balloon crazy for most if not all the children to be given out
at the end of the party. note:
this depends on how many children are at the function and the amount of
time available.
A few Ideas and suggestions for making children's
parties easier (on you):
Put name badges on the children, it is
much better if we can call the children by their name.
When playing "Pass the parcel" make the prizes
suitable for both boys and girls.
Lots of simple prizes are more successful
than a few expensive and complicated prizes.
Sweets should be pre-wrapped E.G.
Haribo,
quality street, lollypops etc.
Some parents find a children's party a
stressful event; to reduce this keep it
simple.....
For
this age group we do NOT
normally
supply a children's entertainer; just the disco for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
We're happy
to play a few games, but only if the children want to (with a little help from the parents).
We can make a few balloons crazies during
the party for any younger children that attend.
We play music of our choice which will be suitable for the event
and age group, we are happy to play all requests and dedications
as long as the
requested music meets
with our music policy
(many
modern records contain swear words - we are not prepared to play this
sort of music to under 18's).
At some
point during the party, usually half way through, we will stop the
dancing, put on some background music whilst you feed them
and cut the Birthday cake.
